Commitment to Training Equals Commitment to Care

Wesley Brusseau, LCSW, began a journey to further develop his skills as a Play Therapist in April 2015. Every other month Wesley travels to Norfolk, VA, where he participates in 25 hours of classroom training at Old Dominion University (ODU). Wesley's continued education and training is with ODU's Registered Play Therapy Program. Though Wesley has been extensively trained and supervised in providing play therapy, and becoming a Registered Play Therapist (RPT) is not a requirement, Wesley is committed to his practice and those he serves; therefore, continued training is at the top of Wesley's priorities. After completing the classroom training, Wesley will be eligible to obtain the RPT creditial.
